LELY COMPACTOR

Lely Roc Decompactor Plowshare: Durability and Efficiency for Better Soil Health

The Lely Roc-type subsoiler ploughshare is designed to meet the demands of the most demanding agricultural work. This essential component of the subsoiler ensures deep work, breaking up compacted layers of soil while preserving its structure. Thanks to its optimized design and robustness, Lely's Roc-type share maximizes the efficiency of decompaction operations, contributing to soil health and improved farm yields.

Decompaction and the importance of shares

Decompaction is an essential technique in agriculture, enabling soil to be loosened at depth without being turned over. This process is particularly necessary in soils compacted by the passage of heavy farm machinery. Soil compaction limits root growth, reduces water and nutrient infiltration, and compromises crop productivity.

The ploughshare is the key part of a subsoiler, as it must penetrate the deep layers of the soil to break up the "plough sole". The Lely Roc decompactor coulter is specially designed to provide effective penetration, even in the hardest soils, while minimizing resistance and fuel consumption.

Features of the Lely Roc-type decompactor coulter

1. Resistant materials: The Roc type coulter is made from high-quality materials such as hardened steel, to guarantee a long service life, even under intense working conditions. Some models are also reinforced with tungsten carbide, increasing their wear resistance.

2. Optimized design: The shape of the Lely Roc-type coulter is specially designed to reduce resistance when penetrating the soil, enabling deep cultivation without disturbing the upper layers.

3. Energy efficiency: Thanks to its sophisticated design, the Roc type plowshare saves fuel while ensuring quality work, as it requires less power to penetrate the soil.

4. Easy installation and replacement: Lely Roc-type shares are easy to replace, minimizing machine downtime and ensuring maximum productivity.

Advantages of the Lely Roc decompactor coulter

1. Improved soil structure: By breaking up compacted layers, the Roc type coulter improves infiltration of water and nutrients, promoting better root development and healthier crop growth.

2. Increased yields: By facilitating soil aeration and enabling roots to access deeper layers, this coulter contributes directly to improved crop yields.

3. Reduced soil compaction: The Lely Roc type coulter is ideal for working in compacted soils, avoiding problems associated with poor water infiltration or limited root growth.

4. Durability and savings: Thanks to its robustness, this coulter resists wear and tear, reducing replacement frequency and, consequently, operating costs.
