How do I bleed the air from a Comet high-pressure cleaner ?

💡 Bleeding the air from a Comet pressure washer is an essential step for proper operation and to avoid pressure surges.

Here is the recommended method:
1️⃣ Connect your Comet cleaner to the water supply and turn on the tap.
2️⃣ Without switching on the motor or operating the pump, squeeze the lance trigger to let the water circulate and evacuate air from the circuit.
3️⃣ Hold the trigger in until you obtain a steady stream of water without air bubbles.
4️⃣ Once the air has been purged, start the cleaner motor.

👉 Remember to check the water inlet and filter to ensure optimum flow and prevent air from entering.

💬 Camagris tip: always purge your appliance before first use and after winterizing.

How much does a Comet high-pressure cleaner cost ?

💶 The price of a Comet high-pressure cleaner varies according to range and technical features:

💬 Camagris tip: invest in a model adapted to the frequency of use (occasional, regular, intensive) to optimize your value for money.

What is the right pressure for a Comet high-pressure cleaner ?

⚙ The right pressure depends on the intended use:

• 120 to 150 bar ideal for domestic use (cleaning vehicles, terraces, garden furniture).

• 200 to 300 bar and over indispensable for heavy-duty work (construction, roadworks, industrial cleaning).

👉 At Comet, models are available with a wide choice of pressures. It's important to combine the right pressure with the right flow rate (over 10 liters/min for intensive use) to ensure effective cleaning.
