Application

Brush, roller or spray application.

Paint on:

For brush application use special brushes with synthetic or mixed bristles.

Roller application:

For roller application, use a brushed foam roller. Alternatively, use a FILT short-haired roller and then roll again with a fine-pore foam roller.

Spray application:

Adapt material consistency. Observe equipment manufacturer's information.

High pressure :

nozzle: 1.5 - 1.8 mm; spray pressure: 3 - 4 bar; dilution: approx. 10%.

Airless application :

spray angle: 50°; nozzle: 0.010 - 0.013"; spray pressure: 130-150 bar; undiluted

Prepare backgrounds in accordance with good practice. See "Substrate preparation/priming" section. To obtain sufficient protection, apply a minimum of 2 coats.

Ambient and object temperature must be at least +5°C during application and drying.

Stir well before use.

Too thick a coat and too short drying times between coats can lead to wrinkling of the coating surface and prolonged drying times.

Ensure adequate ventilation during processing and drying indoors.

Allow sufficient drying time between coats. Surfaces to be coated must be covered and protected from material splashes

Approx. 90 ml/m2 per coat. Consumption may vary according to the nature and structure of the substrate and the application process. Determine exact consumption values by testing on the substrate.

Dilute with max. 10%. For impact resistance, add 5% hardener

Drying

At +20°C and 65% relative humidity:
Surface dry after approx. 2 hours
Recoatable after approx. 12 hours
Drying time is increased at lower temperatures and/or higher humidity.

Clean tools immediately after use with a universal nitrocellulose thinner or brush cleaner.
