The Case IH 845 XL is an 80 hp (59kW) agricultural tractor powered by a 4-cylinder (D268), 4.392-liter displacement IH engine. The engine is atmospheric and water-cooled. Its rated speed is 2300 rpm and it delivers a maximum torque of 295 Nm at 1400 rpm.
The 845 XL features a 295 mm diameter dual dry clutch (forward and PTO). It is fitted as standard with a 4-range, 4-speed gearbox providing 16 forward and 8 reverse gears.
In the 4-wheel drive version, the IH 845 XL tractor is equipped with a ZF APL330 or APL335 front axle as an option. The front axle is an electro-hydraulically-controlled, self-locking, multi-disc type.
The 845 XL is equipped with hydraulically-controlled internal disc brakes, while the parking brake is strap-operated, and the trailer brake is hydraulic.
The Case IHC 845 XL farm tractor is equipped with a rear PTO with 2 speeds (540 and 1000 rpm)
As for the hydraulics, the pump delivers 30 l/min and the circuit pressure is 175 bar. As standard, the 845 XL has 1 hydraulic distributor, but it is possible to add 3, single-acting or double-acting.
The Case IH 845 XL is equipped with a heated cab.
The fuel tank capacity is 106 liters, while the oil sump capacity is 12 liters. The coolant circuit has 20 liters of permanent coolant.
