TOPMIX CENTRAL DEFLECTOR FOR KOCKERLING

Central deflector for Köckerling TopMix stubble cultivator - Part no. 907020

The Köckerling TopMix central deflector, part no. 907020, is an essential part for improving the working efficiency of your Köckerling stubble cultivators, such as the Quadro, Trio and Vector models. Designed to optimize the mixing of organic residues with the soil, this deflector plays a crucial role in the even distribution of material and ensures high-quality soil preparation.

Technical specifications of the Central Deflector (Ref. 907020)

• Length: 425 mm
• Width: 80 mm
• Thickness: 8 mm
• Material: Steel treated for wear resistance

Role and operation of the central deflector

The central deflector is a part mounted directly behind the tines of Köckerling TopMix stubble cultivators, and its role is to direct and distribute the soil evenly. As the tines pass through the soil, the deflector guides the soil and plant residues, facilitating optimum mixing and preventing organic matter from being buried too deeply.

The design of the deflector is such as to effectively throw the soil from side to side, guaranteeing uniform incorporation of crop residues with the soil, thus creating ideal conditions for seed germination and root development.

Compatibility with Köckerling stubble cultivators

This central deflector is compatible with the main Köckerling stubble cultivators equipped with the TopMix system, including :

• Quadro: Designed to efficiently mix soil and residues at varying depths, the Quadro takes full advantage of the deflector to guarantee homogeneous mixing.
• Trio: Thanks to its three-beam design, the Trio stands out for its ability to refine soils and mix organic matter optimally. The central deflector contributes to this by correctly channelling the worked soil.
• Vector: Used for deep cultivation and shallow stubble ploughing, the Vector benefits from this deflector for precise, well-levelled tillage.

Advantages of the TopMix central deflector

1. Homogeneous mixing: The deflector creates a uniform mixture between the soil and organic residues, essential to ensure proper decomposition and avoid clumps of straw or organic matter on the surface.

2. Optimized Direct Seeding: By distributing the material over the entire tilled width, the central deflector ensures that the seeds find a well-prepared soil in which to germinate evenly.

3. Saves time and energy: thanks to its efficiency, the deflector helps to limit the number of passes required for good stubble cultivation, thus reducing fuel consumption and machine wear.

4. Increased resistance: Constructed from high-quality, 8 mm-thick steel, the Köckerling central deflector is designed to withstand the toughest working conditions, guaranteeing a long service life even in abrasive soils.

5. Easy to fit: the deflector is easy to fit on Köckerling stubble cultivators, thanks to its attachment system adapted to the tines of Quadro, Trio and Vector models. Its length of 425 mm and width of 80 mm providean ideal surface for good soil throw.

Ideal use

This deflector is particularly suitable for :

• Shallow stubble ploughing operations requiring a good soil-straw mix to promote rapid germination of weeds or harvest residues.
• Deeper work, where even distribution of organic matter is crucial to prepare rich, well-aerated soil.
• Seedbed preparation in no-till or mulch systems, where it is essential that soil and organic matter are well incorporated without creating compact layers.

Conclusion

The Köckerling TopMix central deflector (Ref. 907020) is an indispensable accessory for improving the performance of your Köckerling stubble cultivators. Whether you're working with a Quadro, Trio or Vector, this part guarantees optimum working quality, ensuring even mixing of residues with the soil, while limiting the number of passes required.
