REVERSE GEAR KIT FOR RENAULT 551 651 751

Reverse gear kit for Renault tractor - Ref. 7700544703

The Reverse Shift Kit for Renault tractors, part no. 7700544703, is an essential part of the transmission system for smooth, safe shifting into reverse. Comprising a reverse gear pinion, this kit ensures better synchronization of gears and prevents premature wear of the gearbox.

Thanks to its robust design and perfect fit, this reverse shifter is specially designed to fit Renault 500, 600 and 700 series tractors, ensuring a reliable, long-lasting transmission.

Why replace a reverse drive?

Reverse shifters are subject to heavy mechanical stress, particularly when changing direction of travel. Over time and with intensive use, it can:
✅ Wear or chip, making it difficult to shift gears,
✅ Cause creaking or jerking when engaging reverse gear,
✅ Cause power loss if the transmission no longer runs smoothly,
✅ Increase wear on gearbox pinions, which can lead to costly repairs.

Replacing the balancer with an original model restores a smooth transmission, without jerks or parasitic noises, thus prolonging the life of the gearbox.
