Alpego Rotavators: The Versatile Solution for Efficient Soil Preparation

Rotavators, also known as rotary tillers, are versatile and indispensable agricultural tools for deep soil preparation while mixing crop residues and organic fertilizers. Alpego, a renowned manufacturer in the agricultural machinery sector, offers a complete range of rotavators to suit different tractor types and soil conditions. Their machines are designed to combine robustness, efficiency and reliability, meeting the needs of farms of all sizes.

The Alpego rotavator range: Series and features

The Alpego rotavator range is divided into several series, each adapted to specific tractor powers and working widths. These tools ensure efficient work, whether on small or large surfaces, and are suitable for tractors ranging from 50 to 500 horsepower (HP).

1. FV Series - Compact rotavators for tractors from 50 HP upwards

The FV series is ideal for small tractors with a minimum output of 50 HP. This series is designed to work on smaller plots with working widths of between 1.40 m and 1.60 m. These rotavators are ideally suited to smaller farms or market gardening, where a compact, maneuverable tool is required.

2. FB Series - Suitable for tractors from 60 HP upwards

Designed for tractors with 60 HP or more, the FB series offers greater working widths, from 2.05 m to 2.50 m. This series is ideal for medium-sized operations looking for a robust tool for intensive soil cultivation, while covering a substantial area with each pass.

3. FG Series - Power and robustness for tractors from 90 HP upwards

With tractors from 90 HP upwards, the FG series offers working widths from 2.5 m to 3 m, enabling efficient work over large areas. This model is designed for more difficult or compact soils, while ensuring homogeneous mixing of organic residues and high-quality seedbed preparation.

4. FG Bio Series - For tractors from 90 to 180 HP

The FG Bio series is specifically designed for farms practicingorganic farming or seeking to enrich their soil through intensive burial of organic matter. Designed for tractors from 90 to 180 HP, with a working width of 2.5 to 3 m, this series guarantees optimum work even on very hard soils, while promoting an environment conducive to crop growth.

5. FZ Series - Enhanced performance for tractors from 140 to 280 HP

The FZ series is designed for tractors from 140 to 280 HP, and can work widths of 3 to 4 meters. It is ideal for large-scale operations requiring intensive tillage over large areas. Thanks to its robust design, it ensures long service life and fast, efficient tillage.

6. LG and LZ Series - Versatile working widths for powerful tractors

The LG and LZ series are designed for tractors from 85 to 280 HP, with working widths from 2.5 to 4 meters. These rotavators are ideal for farmers who need to cover large areas quickly and efficiently, without compromising on soil quality.

7. KZ Series - Versatile solution for tractors from 85 to 280 HP

The KZ series is available in two versions, suitable for tractors from 85 to 280 HP, with working widths from 2.5 to 4 meters. These rotavators are the ideal solution for intensive work in difficult conditions, offering great flexibility according to the needs of the farm.

Rotavators with Reverse Rotation: An Alpego Speciality

Alpego also offers inverted-rotor rotary cutters, often referred to as stone buriers. These machines are distinguished by their ability to work the soil at depth while leaving stones and other debris on the surface, facilitating their subsequent collection and creating a clean, well-prepared seedbed.

1. IG Inversa Series - Stone burier for tractors from 90 to 170 HP

The IG Inversa series is designed for tractors from 90 to 170 HP, with working widths from 2.5 to 3 meters. This series is ideal for operations requiring intensive tillage while optimizing residue and stone burial.

2. IZ Inversa Series - Suitable for tractors from 140 to 280 HP

For more powerful tractors, the IZ Inversa Series offers working widths of 3 to 4 meters, and is suitable for tractors from 140 to 280 HP. These machines are particularly effective for large-scale work requiring intensive soil mixing.

Folding rotavators: a solution for large-scale operations

Alpego also offers a range of folding rotavators for large farms, enabling easy transport while offering extended working widths.

1. Poker Series - Working widths from 3.6 to 5 meters

The Poker Series is designed for tractors from 140 to 260 HP, with working widths from 3.6 to 5 meters. This folding model is ideal for farmers who need high working capacity, while retaining the ability to transport the machine easily on the road.

2. Matrix Series - Intensive work for tractors up to 500 HP

The Matrix series is the most powerful model in the Alpego range, designed for tractors from 300 to 500 HP, with impressive working widths of 6 to 7.30 meters. Ideal for very large or industrial farms, this series enables fast, efficient tillage over large areas.

Poker Inversa - Folding stone burier

Finally, for farmers needing a folding stone burier, Alpego offers the Poker Inversa model, suitable for tractors from 150 to 260 HP with working widths from 3.6 to 5 meters. This model is ideal for stony soils, where stones and residues need to be buried before seeding.
