ACTISOL

Actisol: An Innovative Brand for Soil and Vineyard Management

Actisol is an emblematic brand in the field of soil preparation and viticulture, founded nearly 60 years ago. It was born of a meeting between two visionaries, Raoul Lemaire and Jean Boucher, in the Monts du Lyonnais region of France. Their common goal: to create tools that respect the soil while improving farming practices. Since its creation, Actisol has continued to innovate, developing equipment designed to protect and optimize soil health, in line with agronomic principles.

Actisol's history: a path of innovation

• 1963 - 1968: The beginnings
Actisol was born in 1963 with the development of its first tool, "La Fouilleuse". This first model was designed to loosen soil without turning it over, thus preserving the topsoil and underground biodiversity. In 1970, this tool was renamed Actisol, rapidly becoming a symbol of agronomic innovation.

• 1982: Birth of the Actisol trademark
Raoul Lemaire registered the Actisol trademark with INPI, formalizing the birth of a company dedicated to respecting the soil.

• 1985 - 1999: Development and expansion
With Jacques Monin at the helm of distribution, Actisol strengthened its presence in France and abroad, taking part in numerous agricultural trade shows. The company expanded its range of tools, from 2.50-meter to 6.40-meter working widths, and incorporated resistant materials such as carbide to extend the life of parts.

• 2000 to present: Expansion and modernization of the
range Actisol has continued to expand, developing innovative machines such as the HERBASOL for deep aeration, the COMBISOL for versatility, and the ROLL KROP for destroying cover. New technologies and configurations have been added to meet the growing demands of modern agriculture.
