CONNECTING ROD - BEARING TRACTOR SAME LEOPARD 85 EXPORT

Connecting rods and connecting rod bearings are essential components of a tractor engine. They play a crucial role in transmitting the power generated by combustion in the cylinder to the crankshaft, transforming this linear movement into rotary movement.

- Connecting rod: It connects the piston to the crankshaft. It is typically made of a sturdy metal material and is designed to withstand significant forces, while maintaining the essential connection between the piston and crankshaft.

- Connecting rod bearings: These parts are inserted between the connecting rod and the crankshaft to reduce friction and allow smooth movement. They are often made of metal with a coating of anti-friction material like bronze, Teflon, or fiber-reinforced plastic.

Here are some important points about connecting rods and rod bearings:

1. Function: The connecting rods transmit the force of the piston to the crankshaft, converting the reciprocating motion of the piston into rotary motion to propel the tractor.

2. Lubrication: Connecting rod bearings require adequate lubrication to reduce friction and wear. Insufficient lubrication can lead to premature wear and damage.

3. Maintenance: Wear of connecting rod bearings is common with time and use. During engine overhauls, connecting rod bearings are often inspected and replaced if necessary to prevent critical failure.

4. Materials and Strength: Connecting rods are typically made of sturdy alloy steel to withstand the extreme forces generated by combustion. Connecting rod bearings often use blends of materials to provide wear resistance while minimizing friction.

5. Engine Performance: Connecting rods and connecting rod bearings in good condition are essential to maintaining engine performance, preventing excessive vibration, and ensuring extended engine life.

Connecting rods and connecting rod bearings are crucial elements in ensuring proper operation of the tractor engine. Regular maintenance and replacement of worn components are important practices to maintain optimal engine performance and prolong its durability.
