CLUTCH DISC TRACTOR CASE QUANTUM 75C

The forward and PTO clutch plates are crucial components of the tractor clutch system. These discs are designed to transfer power from the engine to the transmission, allowing the clutch to be engaged or disengaged to transmit power to the wheels or PTO.

These discs are usually made from heat-resistant materials, such as high-friction composite materials or special metal materials. They are designed to resist wear from repeated clutch engagement, friction and heat generated when transferring power from the engine to the transmission.

The forward clutch disc is directly involved in transferring power to the tractor wheels. When the clutch is engaged, this disc allows power from the engine to be transmitted to the transmission to drive the wheels and propel the tractor forward or backward.

As for the PTO clutch disc, it is associated with the tractor's PTO, which is used to power the agricultural tools and equipment attached to the tractor. This disc allows you to engage or disengage the power transmission to the PTO, thus making it possible to start or stop the rotation of the connected equipment.

Regular maintenance of clutch plates is important to ensure their proper functioning and extend their lifespan. Periodic inspection is necessary for signs of excessive wear, cracking, warping or heat burning. Worn or damaged rotors can cause clutch engagement issues, loss of power, or even PTO malfunction.

In summary, the forward and PTO clutch plates are key components of the tractor clutch system, enabling the transfer of power from the engine to the transmission or PTO. Regular maintenance and replacement of worn or damaged discs is essential to maintaining the performance and safety of agricultural operations.
