BELT TRACTOR CASE 1255

Drive belts in agricultural tractors are essential for the proper functioning of various components, including the water pump, alternator and sometimes the air conditioning compressor. Here are some important points:

1. Water Pump: The water pump belt is responsible for driving the pump which ensures the circulation of coolant in the engine to maintain the optimal operating temperature.

2. Alternator:** This belt powers the alternator which generates electricity to recharge the tractor battery and power the electrical systems when the engine is running.

3. Air conditioning compressor (if equipped): In tractors equipped with air conditioning, the belt can drive the compressor that compresses the refrigerant to provide cold air into the tractor cabin.

4. Types of belts: These belts can be trapezoidal or ribbed type, depending on the requirements of each component and the configuration of the transmission system.

5. Maintenance: It is crucial to keep the belts in good condition. Regular inspection to check their state of wear, tension and alignment is recommended. Damaged or worn belts should be replaced to avoid breakdowns or malfunctions.

6. Replacement: Belt replacement is often scheduled during periodic tractor maintenance to ensure the reliability of the transmission system and avoid unexpected interruptions.

Transmission belts are key components for the proper functioning of tractor accessories. They are vital to ensure the efficient cooling of the engine, the generation of electricity and, where applicable, the proper functioning of the air conditioning. Regular maintenance and proper replacement of belts help maintain the performance of the agricultural tractor.
